And with Atalante France Lyon about 15 years and trekking guide in Nepal, excellent French language, knowledgeable and very strong positive decision making for any bad condition and situation, wilderness First Aid trained guide, Government license holder guide in Nepal. Originally from Kanku Mural from SoluKhumbu region Uttare has been guiding Atalante trips since the last fifteen years. He started as a porter and then rose up the ranks to a Sherpa and then became a French Speaking guide. His story does not end here. His passion for the mountains and attention to detail makes him a great travel companion. Safety of the client is of utmost importance to him. While guiding in the mountains a client fell ill in a very isolated place and without thinking about his own safety Uttare carried the client on his shoulders and rescued him. As a sign of appreciation he was able to spend two years in France where he learnt to speak French fluently. He has travelled extensively in the Himalayas and knows it like the back of his hand. With him as the travel companion as well as an Operation Manager you know you are in good hands.
